well known shows it's true. but just in case you haven't stopped by before, the reputation is justified. two great shows at:

LONG BEACH ARENA, Ca. 12/13 - 12/14/1980

Long Beach Shoreline Village Flag

I was just down there this weekend. The fish tank and all it's glory. Unfortunately not much going on at the Arena these days. The LB officials for some reason charge way too much to rent it out. Oh well. Very intimate venue for an arena. Must have been nice to see them there

Where do you live in California? Since you were just in Long Beach I am curious- I live in Vista.

GLAD I COULD BE OF SERVICE GANG!

little did i know that my innocent gesture towards a nice sounding couple of shows would inspire such feelings of generosity between the southern california residents that visit the GD Forum here.

bluedevil, lobster and liam -- glad i provide the banner under which you all could gather -- i take full credit for all of your further relaitionships -- i brought you all together!

..... how about that Bird Song from the 14th?

I live in Long beach. Right on the OC border by Los Alamitos and Seal beach. We were down at Shoreline Drive for lunch this weekend.

That's too funny. I was in a pretty nice restaurant in Palo alto the morning after a dead show and this lady came up to us and started talking politics for some reason as we were eating our breakfast. We mentioned we were from so cal and all hell broke loose. Of course the "water theft" issue came up.

You are in the Saratoga area, correct?

Monterey - my office is next to the airport, about 2 miles from Laguna Seca. If you ever want to get into the aquarium, let me know. We're members.

I remember you mentioning the Mountain Winery last year. One of my favorite places ever. If I ever hit the lottery I'd by a place in saratoga. I really liked that town/village

I saw that. They are in LA as well at the El rey.

At the very least we can meet half way on a saturday for lunch. Nothing wrong with sitting by the ocean taking in the so cal sun.
